How to Treat Mild, Moderate and Severe Acne

TREATING MILD ACNE

Mild acne consists of small lesions, such as blackheads, whiteheads or pustules, which appear at or near the surface of the skin. As such, mild cases of acne can sometimes be controlled at home by:

• Gently washing the affected area(s) with warm water and a mild soap twice a day to remove dead skin cells and excess oil
• Using a topical (applied to the skin) over-the-counter acne treatment containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.

Most mild acne can be controlled by gently washing the affected area(s) and using a topical preparation, such as benzoyl peroxide.

Great explanation. Being in the business of providing skincare solutions, we can say that such videos are sure to create a general awareness about acne cures and other treatment procedures.

Very nice basic explanation about acne. Did forget to mention the important role of bacteria in the infection and inflammation associated with more advanced forms of acne. When redness is involved, bacteria is involved. The bacteria multiple in the over abundant oil. Thanks for helping people understand acne a little better. Barbara Schell, MD (dermatologist)

The solution for me was exercise. While exercising, you sweat, and sweat cleans the skin quite thoroghly. All you need to take care is to wash it down as soon as you finish, don’t let it dry on you or you’ll worsen the situaton (not to mention you’ll smell)
Apart from being acne-free, this “tratment” will improve your physique, which is always a good thing ;)
ps: long greasy hair can also cause acne, so wash it more often as well :)
